Shem Creek Stroll
Like many coastal towns, Mount Pleasant, my home near Charleston, South Carolina, struggles with rapid growth and tourist traffic. But exploring the neighborhood on foot takes the edge off. Here’s a glimpse of Shem Creek Park, which includes extensive boardwalks that provide intimacy with the salt marsh and shrimp boats the ever-changing tides.
